Power Agreements
Draft and publish a formal Power Agreement before any billing begins. Defines billing method, base power rate, group service margin, split rules, and group responsibilities. All members must accept before charges are raised.
Group service transparency
Group service margin - if charged - is always disclosed in the Power Agreement alongside the base power rate and total member rate. No hidden fees. Every action is timestamped and visible to members.
Members
Member invites
Invite members by email. Track invite status (pending, accepted). Each member is linked to their unit, flat, or shop within the group.
Meter readings & billing
Meter and sub-meter readings
Create meter profiles for each member unit. Submit readings with timestamped photo evidence. Track previous vs current readings and calculate exact usage.
Agreed split and contribution tracking
Usage-based billing is preferred where reliable individual sub-meters exist. Where no individual meter exists, KudiGrid supports agreed split or contribution-only tracking with clear member acceptance.
Bills and payment tracking
Auto-calculate bills from meter readings and agreed rates. Members submit payment proof. Admins review and confirm payment status. Full audit trail.
Evidence & receipts
Photo evidence
Attach timestamped photos to meter readings, payment proof, and receipts. All evidence is stored against the relevant record permanently.
Expenses and receipts
Group admins log diesel, repair, cable, and shared service costs with receipt photos or URLs for operational review.
Ledger & disputes
Role-aware ledger
Group admins see group-wide bills, payments, expenses, and running balances. Members track their own bills, payment proofs, and disputes.
Dispute records
Any member can raise a formal dispute on a bill, meter reading, or expense. Admin reviews and closes disputes. Dispute history is recorded permanently and cannot be deleted.
KudiGrid does not sell electricity, supply power, or install meters or electrical equipment. It is a billing and evidence platform for groups that already share electricity.
